2. Description of Services

LitData provides bespoke synthetic data set services for financial institutions involved in securities litigation and financial compliance. Our services include synthetic trading data generation, data validation and reconciliation, plan of allocation mapping, recognized loss calculation, and compliance with industry standards.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use our services in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
  • Use our services to transmit or send any harmful, threatening, abusive, libelous, or otherwise objectionable material
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of our services, the server on which our services are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to our services
  • Use our services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use of the services

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The services and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by LitData, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

5. Confidentiality

We understand the sensitive nature of the data and information involved in securities litigation. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information and data. We will not disclose any confidential information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event will LitData, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, our services, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Changes to Terms

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. Your continued use of the services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
